Who this is for
Whoever has been asked to do something about it and needs to know which of the six categories they actually have. Whoever would run the investigation, and needs a process that survives a challenge. And, indirectly, whoever is subject to the policy, whose cooperation produces the records.
How the notes are written
Measurements you can take. Six checks, each an afternoon, from records you already hold.
The uncomfortable findings included. A geofence barely touches buddy punching on site. Most break overruns are the walk to the break room. The unpaid column is usually larger. And a falling correction rate can mean people gave up rather than that the system improved.
Both directions. The same records answer both questions, and a collection that examined one would be a collection written for one party — and less useful even to that party, because the larger legal exposure runs the other way.
The genuine cases taken seriously. One note is entirely about what real misconduct looks like and how to handle it, because an organisation that never acts on it teaches that the rules are decorative.
What is deliberately absent
How to configure screen capture, keystroke counting or activity scoring. How to monitor covertly. How to frame an automatic trigger as a human decision.
These appear only in the notes explaining why they should not be done, and requests to help with them are declined in the same terms.
No industry figures
No percentages of payroll are quoted. They are surveys of other sectors scaled to headcount, and they count categories that are not what the term implies. Every number worth having here is one you produced from your own records, and the notes say how to produce each.
About this domain
This address previously belonged to a university student engineering team, and the archive contained photographs of a hundred or so named students going back more than a decade.
None of that material is here and none of it should be anywhere. Those students are adults now and never agreed to their photographs appearing on a domain that changed hands.
Every previous address returns a clear "gone" response.
